I'm so excited that the work of this living couple, in their 80's is being exhibited right in Balboa Park. The Ackerman's produced so much work in so many mediums it gives me hope that it's okay to be interested in many, or too many things. Evelyn Ackerman's motto for decorating and design was "do what pleases you". From Mar 1 - May 25th the Mingei Museum admission is 1/2 price from 10am-noon on sat/sun, or $4 regular/$2 student.
